Frank Lampard Fit to Play Against West Ham

Frank Lampard has undergone successful a hernia surgery in Germany two weeks ago. The Chelsea midfielder is also claimed to be able to return to play next week.

“Surely, Frank would be fit for the match against West Ham United,” said Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti to the Daily Star on Sunday.

Lampard himself suffered a hernia problem since some time ago. The problem was getting more difficult to overcome in the last few weeks before he finally decided to do a surgery.

“After the game against Stoke, Frank experienced pain. So he decided, after consulting with team physicians, to seek solutions and to resolve this issue as quickly as possible,” said Ancelotti.
