Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has targeted 20-year-old young player from Panathinaikos, Sotiris Ninis, as a new midfielder for the Red Devils next season.

According to the Mirror, United had opened the negotiation process with Panathinaikos about the possibilities of bringing Ninis to Old Trafford at the end of this season.

Fergie still seems eager to bring young players into the squad. The arrival of Chris Smalling, Bebe, and Javier Hernandez is not yet enough. Ninis is expected to complete United’s midfield.

Ninis was born in Albania. He has played for the Greek U-21 national team and also at senior levels. During his time in Panathinaikos, he had played 64 games, scoring six goals.
