Manchester United Wants Diego Forlan Back at Old Trafford

The success that Uruguayan striker Diego Forlan made at the 2010 World Cup is enough to make Manchester United reportedly wanting to bring the 31-year-old back to Old Trafford.

Tutto Mercato claims that Inter Milan are interested in getting the Atletico Madrid striker. But they will face competition from United’s manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Forlan played for United from 2002 to 2004. But he left Old Trafford after scoring only ten goals from 63 game with the Red Devils.

Forlan then moved to Villarreal, and scored 54 goals in 106 appearances, before moving to Atletico. Forlan helped Atletico win the Europa League and European Super Cup.

Forlan made a brilliant achievement when he won the best player at World Cup 2010.
