The lack of options at left-back position forces Real Madrid to come back looking for new players in the winter transfer window. They are no monitoring Girondins Bordeaux left-back Benoit Tremoulinas.

Tremoulinas is rated as a decent player to fill the post which has so far only occupied by Marcelo, or Alvaro Arbeloa which is sometimes  forced to play on the left.

However, according to Calciomercato, Real Madrid is not the only team interested in Tremoulinas. Juventus are reportedly also ready to chase him in January.

Both teams, plus other teams who also want Tremoulinas, have to show Bordeaux a tempting offer. Because the French Ligue 1 club have no intention of releasing the player.
