Guardiola Satisfied with Barcelona’s Draw Against Rubin Kazan
Barcelona coach Pep Guardiola still feels satisfied with the achievement of his team despite a 1-1 draw against Rubin Kazan in the Champions League match on Tuesday (29 / 9). In the match, Barca was behind first through Christian Noboa. They finally equalized through the goal by David Villa.
Guardiola admitted he is happy because Barca can still get a point in their away game. Moreover, Barca faced a team which deffended more despite playing at home.
“I am satisfied with the performance of the players. We actually have a chance to win the game,” said Guardiola.
However, Guardiola was frustrated so he played Lionel Messi in the second half, although Messi is not yet not fully fit.
“He showed progress in the recovery process. We’re glad he’s back,” Guardiola added.
