German Bundesliga elite team Schalke appeared attractive when they beat Portuguese champions Benfica in the Champions League by a score of 2-0.

Head coach Felix Magath said the game is actually difficult, but his team deserved the win.

“Of course we are satisfied with this victory. I am pleased with the appearance of a solid team and the outcomeof the game,” said Magath in front of reporters after the game.

“This game is actually difficult, we were less fortunate in the first half. But we did perform better than Benfica and deserved three points.”
