Atletico Madrid 22-year-old striker Sergio Aguero will miss next Friday’s Argentina friendly match against Japan because he is not included in the squad because of leg injury.

Aguero injured his left leg during the game against Athletic. According to Ole, Aguero will join Javier Zanetti in missing out on the October 8 match against Japan as he continues his recovery in Spain.

Sergio Batista flew out to Europe yesterday to discuss matters with Atletico officials, as well as meeting with other Spain-based squad members such as Ever Banega of Valencia and Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain, Fernando Gago and Angel di Maria.
