Lazio Eyeing Diego Forlan and Giuseppe Rossi
Lazio are reportedly interested to get Diego Forlan from Atletico Madrid, or Giuseppe Rossi – Villarreal striker.
Lazio president, Claudio Lotito, change the club’s transfer policy and will focus on getting one or two big names in the transer market within one year. He will no longer buy cheap players.
Lotito’s policy changes is triggered by the success of investing € 10.5 million in the purchase Hernanes. The Brazilian thought to have made Lazio spirited and helped boost them to the top of the table.
Now, Lazio will try to find a new striker to back up Sergio Floccari and Mauro Zarate.
Ideally, Lazio want to bring one or two players again in January 2011 – or when the transfer market reopens. Biancoceleste would really need to be able to compete throughout the second half of the season. But they are faced with the need for a center-back.
Lotito made this need as a priority. He will try to get Miranda from Sao Paolo, although the Brazilian player can not be registered until next season.
The Non-EU player quota for Lazio is already full, so Miranda has to wait.
