Johan Elmander managed to earn Bolton Wanderers a point at the DW Stadium as they drew 1-1. Bolton would have been much the happier of the two sides after Wigan Athletic dominated for large periods this afternoon. A serious ankle injury to Wigan midfielder James McCarthy seemed to galvanise the side as Hugo Rodallega opened the scoring in the 58th minute before Elmander’s leveller after 65 minutes.
