Arsene Wenger: Arsenal Not Buying Anyone In January
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger insists he has no intention of replenishing his squad in January, unless injuries make it imperative for him to bring in fresh faces.
The north London side have been linked with moves for several players ahead of the winter transfer window, but the Frenchman wants to leave the club’s coffers untouched.
“My policy is to stick to the squad I have, we will not be on the market,” Wenger told the club’s official website.
“I want to keep my squad and I want to continue with these players. We will not be on the market unless we lose some.”
Arsenal are currently placed third in the Premier League, two points behind Manchester United.
