Adriano is likely to remain with Roma during the January transfer window, insists agent Gilmar Rinaldi.

“He has a contract with Roma until 2013 and he will remain there. Do they count on him? Ask them,” Rinaldi told Lancenet.

Corinthians are said to have expressed an interest in Adriano who has been kept out of action by Jeremy Menez, Mirko Vucinic, Francesco Totti and Marco Borriello who have the favour of coach Claudio Ranieri.

“If he wants to go back to Brazil and play for Corinthians then I will do what I can to make that happen,” added Rinaldi.

“Ronaldo asked me if I could take Adriano to Corinthians, but I said it all depends on the clubs.

“In any case, Adriano wants to remain in Rome.”
