Mark McGhee Sacked by Aberdeen

Mark McGhee AberdeenAberdeen have fired Mark McGhee as their manager after they plummeted to second from bottom in the Scottish Premier League.

The Scottish club made the announcement on their official website, stating that McGhee and assistants Scott Leitch and Colin Meldrum “have left the club”.

Chairman Stewart Milne said, “On behalf of everyone at the club, I would like to thank Mark, Scott and Colin for their time at Aberdeen.”

McGhee, 53, has been under immense pressure for quite a while after a poor start to the season for Aberdeen. A caretaker manager will be announced shortly.?
