Ronaldinho finally officially joins Flamengo starting this January.

Dinho’s move from AC Milan became true after the club brought Antonio Cassano in the winter transfer market. The 30-year-old star looked for a new club and last week with his agent,who is also his brother, Roberto de Assis, flew to Brazil to discuss the transfer.

Before, Gremio was linked with Ronaldinho, but the transfer failed because of Milan’s transfer fee demands were too high. Flamengo came  and a few hours before the official news is reported, both sides reportedly have reached an agreement.

Ronaldinho will receive a salary of € 130 thousand per week and a contract duration of three and a half years or until the 2014 World Cup in Brazil. Dinho’s high salary Budget is possible after Flamengo obtain sponsorship support from Traffic and Olympikus. As the cost of transfer, Flamengo will pay € 3 million to Milan.
