U.S. and Aston Villa goalkeeper Brad Friedel is reportedly been declared bankrupt by a court in Britain because of a debt related to a soccer academy in his hometown.

The Daily Mirror reveals the Macclesfield court’s bankruptcy decision, is because Friedel required to pay $ 8 million debt in expenses for the Premier Soccer Academy in Lorain, Ohio, USA.

Friedel’s house in Ohio is reportedly been confiscated by court last month.

Earlier, in July 2009, U.S. media carried stories about the charges against the Premier Soccer Academy valued at $ 7.6 million for unpaid debts.
