After being fired by Schalke 04, Felix Magath does not need a long time to search for a new job. Magath will manage VfL Wolfsburg, the club which he once succeeded with.

Magath was sacked from his position as coach of Schalke this week, following a number of unsatisfying results in the Bundesliga. Schalke’s success in reaching the last eight of the Champions League could not save his career at the club.

However, only a a few days later Magath had found a new club. Now besides being manager, at the same time he will be the sporting director at Wolfsburg.

“VfL Wolfsburg have chosen Felix Magath as coach and sporting director. He will be introduced officially this Friday,” explained Wolfsburg in a brief statement, according to Reuters.
