Serie A club Cagliari managed to sign in new Moroccan striker, Moestafa El Kabir, and will soon join the club during the transfer market next summer, after reaching a deal with Swedish club, Mjallby.

Since recent periods Cagliari had observed the 22-year-old player and decided to bring El Kabir to Italy.

Mjallby admitted that they are very pleased with the bid submitted by the Cagliari and they still may use the services of El Kabir until the end of this season.

El Kabir now only need to finish private talks with Cagliari and undergo a medical tests before officially announced by Roberto Donadoni’s squad.

“We have reached an agreement with Cagliari and I will fly to Italy with Moestafa tomorrow to do a medical tests and not long after we will sign the contract,” said Mjallby director, Thomas Borstam.

“We have agreed a mutual beneficial contract and he would not leave until August.”

Cagliari enjoyed their journey this season, after they were able to reach ninth position with six games left to play. (Sky)
