According to his agent, young Bologna midfielder, Gaston Ramirez, is being monitored by Premier League club Manchester City, who is said to be interested to bring him to Manchester this summer.

Ramirez’s appearance this season is quite good and in his is only 20 years old, he is considered to have a promising prospect.

A number of other top European clubs reportedly have watched Ramirez’s performance in the Serie A this season, many say that Ramirez plays like former Juventus star Pavel Nedved.

Representative agent, Vincenzo D’Ippolito, declared that Manchester City have questioned the status of his client and are even ready to submit a bid.

But D’Ippolito said that that Bologna are not interested in City’s offer which do not meet their requirements and Bologna are ready to defend the player.

“There is a real offer from Manchester City,” said D’Ippolito.

“I do not know the value but Bologna for now says no.

“These are very good early signs, so we’ll see next.

“Bologna seemed to be  only interested in a value of 20 million euros for Ramirez.” (Sky)
