As one of the players who shined this season, Palermo star Javier Pastore is a target of many clubs, including Serie A clubs in Italy. AS Roma is one of the club linked with the player.

Former Palermo sporting director Walter Sabatini, reportedly wanted to bring Pastore to his current club which plans to build a new power in the upcoming season. However, Pastore directly denied this news.

“There is no contact with Roma or any club. Sabatini was the one who brought me to Palermo, but he did not contact me to talk about transfers,” said the Argentine midfielder, according to Goal.

“I can only say, I do not want to think about all the news of my transfer plans next summer. I just want to focus to give Palermo the best result this season.”
