AC Milan reportedly will try to bring Bayern Munich star Bastian Schweinsteiger and Miroslav Klose to the San Siro.

According to Tuttosport, the Rossoneri will ask Mark van Bommel, a former Bayern player, to approach both of them. Milan are hoping to reach an agreement with the directors of Bayern in the near future.

Rossoneri need a major figure on the left side of midfield, which could support Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Schweinsteiger, who looked impressive with the German national team, is believed to play this role.

However, Schweinsteiger is not easy to get. He is under contract with Bayern until 2016, and will likely only be released Bayern with a high price.

Schweinsteiger reportedly started to feel uncomfortable with the atmosphere at the Allianz Arena, following the departure of coach Louis van Gaal.

Klose could be obtained without spending any money. He has terminated his contract, and refused an extension of one year.

Milan sees Klose as an alternative for Ibrahimovic. If Ibrahimovic continues to behave badly, and gets many penalties, many predicted Klose to be a starter.

Sources at the San Siro mentions that negotiations to get both of them will likely take place next week.
