Striker Luis Fabiano becomes the first target aimed by Galatasaray coach Fatih Terim. The purchase plan for Fabiano, who is currently playing with Sao Paulo, is a a priority for Terim who wants to build a string Galatasaray squad. And the first step done is to  improve the front line of the team.

Galatasaray’s goal record last season was not satisfying. The Turkey elite clubs were only able to score 41 goals in one season. Less than half the goals scored by their rivals Fenerbahce.

Therefore, Terim wants to sharpen the team’s front line. He actually targeted Didier Drogba, Diego Forlan and Miroslav Klose. But all failed to get results.

Fabiano himself has left Sevilla since last March. The 30 year old striker went back to Brazil and joined Sao Paulo. But, injury caused Fabiano has not been able to make his debut.

Galatasaray sports director Bulent Tulun reportedly already flown to Brazil to make negotiations with Sao Paolo. Although it is not yet known how much is Galatasaray’s offer, but Sao Paolo is said to put a € 7.6 million price tag for the player.
