Arturo Vidal has confirmed that he will join Juventus in the near future.

The Chilean midfielder also revealed that he will complete his transfer process from Bayer Leverkusen today.

“I am pleased, it is an important step in continuing my career in one of the best clubs in Europe,” said Vidal.

“I am pleased with the new opportunity given to me. This team is a newly built team with a goal of becoming champions and to qualify for international competition.”

Juventus has yet to confirm a deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Vidal, but the Italian club had made an approach since last month to get the 24-year-old player.

Juventus reportedly prepares a four seasons contract for the former Colo Colo player. Vidal will also become the fifth player signed permanently after Alessandro Matri, Fabio Quagliarella, Simone Pepe and Marco Motta.
