Alberto Paloschi Wants to Learn from Sergio Pellissier at Chievo
Alberto Paloschi has spoken about his desire to gain crucial experience at his new club Chievo. The AC Milan-owned striker joined the club this summer on a season-long loan deal.
Speaking in an interview on Chievo’s official site, the 21-year-old was full of praise for club captain Sergio Pellissier and expressed his belief that the Stadio Marc’Antonio Bentegodiis a great place for youth to develop.
“When I first knew of the interest from Chievo, I spoke to [coach Domenico] Di Carlo and he told me that it was a calm place where I could do well. At this point I did not think twice and immediately said yes,” stated the young striker.
He also spoke about using Pellissier as a role model: “I will try to learn everything I can. In the squad I have to fortune to play with Pellissier, a true man and captain. I hope to learn all of his characteristics because he is a great attacker who scores in the double digits often in Serie A.”
“Chievo is often a showcase for youngsters and I hope to do well. I promise I will give my all. My dream is the senior national team and is still remains with me; I hope to realise it.”
Alberto Paloschi spent last season on loan with Parma until January, and then with Genoa until June, scoring two league goals in 13 games.
