Luis Duque, one of Sporting Lisbon‘s officials, has confirmed that midfielder Simon Vukcevic is on his way out of the club.

The Montenegro international joined Sporting from Saturn Moscow Oblast in 2007, and though he has become an important member of the squad, his time at the club has been marred by disciplinary problems.

The Premier League is understood to be Vukcevic’s likeliest destination, with Bolton said to be keen on landing the 25-year-old.

Questioned about Vukcevic’s future, Duque told RTPN: “He will leave. That is a subject which is being solved.”

It is believed that Sporting are willing to accept an offer in the region of €2 million for Vukcevic, who has just one more year to run on his contract.
