Mascherano Expect Sabella to Lift Argentina

Javier Mascherano ArgentinaIn response to the arrival of the new coach of Argentina national team, El Capitan, Javier Mascherano had spoken. With the switch of Sergio Batista to Alejandro Sabella, Mascherano expects an increase in team performance.

The sacking Batista by AFA is allegedly caused by his failure to lift the Copa America trophy in his own country, some time ago. As a successor, AFA hope that Sabella bring Argentina to be victorious ahead of World Cup.

“I hope he can bring his own ideas and lead the team, so from now on, everything will be further enhanced. It’s hard to talk about a new coach, and the same things would be said, but the solution is, keep working hard and try to follow the coach plans, “said Mascherano, according to ESPN, Saturday (08/13/2011).

Meanwhile, responding to the sacking of ‘Checo’, he is  surprised. Masche certainly is not happy with the sacking, where Batista has not been with the team for one year.

“Obviously, the sacking of Checho is unbelievably sad, especially me as a team captain and also because things do not go as our will,” he continued.

“Unfortunately, the last few years, there have been many changes of coach only because of results, and we are the ones whoa are suppose to be responsible for the mistakes because we are who play on the field,” said the Barcelona star.
