Anzhi Makhachkala had officially appointed Roberto Carlos and Andrey Gordeev as coach to replace sacked Gadzhi Gadzhiev a few days ago.

Roberto Carlos and Gordeev’s status themselves are caretakers or interim coach. Anzhi President, Suleyman Kerimov wants to give an opportunity for both of them until next summer.

After being appointed as coach, Roberto Carlos immediately held a meeting with Kerimov to discuss the club. This talk is about who would be a suitable coach candidate to handle Anzhi next year.

“We met to discuss the new coach later. Nmes like Fabio Capello, Guus Hiddink, Vanderlei Luxemburgo, and Luis Felipe Scolari is still a consideration,” explained the coach who also doubles as a player.

In addition to coaches, they were also talking about plans for next summer’s transfer. According to them, Samuel Eto’o needs to be accompanied by new world quality players.
