Midfielder Alberto Aquilani is grateful to Juventus who have given him a chance to play again. Nevertheless, he feels lucky I Bianconeri loaned him to AC Milan.

“Milan is like heaven, because there are ideal conditions to live a better life and play football,” said Aquilani to Corriere dello Sport.

“Now I understand why many players come to Milan, because they feel happy. Now I want to be a key player for this team,” he said.

He admitted that he did not get a chance to play full at Liverpool, Aquilani tries to pay for it by giving everything for the Rossoneri. Moreover, after extending his contract at Milan until 2014.

“I chose to cut my salary, so I can thank them for the opportunity that has been given. I’m very pleased to be making this decision,” he said.

Milan will face Juventus this weekend. Facing his former club this, Aquilani does not see it as a decisive game in the race for the Scudetto. “It’s too early to say,” he concluded.
