Luis Suarez Happy to Play Along Side Andy Carroll

Joy is now felt by Luis Suarez. The Uruguayan striker is happy to be back scoring goals in Liverpool‘s derby match against Everton. Suarez is also happy that Andy Carroll also contributed a goal in the Merseyside Derby.

Carroll opened the scoring for Liverpool in the 71st minute. Suarez then doubled the Reds goal while ensuring a 2-0 victory over Everton in the 82nd minute.

“We tried with two strikers. For a striker, we always try to score goals, but I’m glad in this game Andy also scored,” Suarez said, according to the official Liverpool website.

“For me it’s hard to believe, because I’m only nine months here and each time we play, fans are always supportive. Unbelievable,” he continued.

Meanwhile, manager Kenny Dalglish gives his comments on the red card of Everton player, Jack Rodwell. He was sent off after a foul on Suarez.

“I did not see it and do not intend to see it. Everton will be disappointed to lose, but Moyes (David Moyes) is probably disappointed with the behavior of his players,” said Dalglish.
