Aguero Could Only be Out for Two Weeks

Sergio Aguero was injured when Manchester City crushed Blackburn Rovers four goals without reply. luckily, according to assistant manager David Platt, Aguero’s  injury is not very severe and he is likely to only be sidelined for two weeks.

When Aguero was pulled out in the 27th minute, it was worried that he must be absent for a long time. But Platt believes Aguero just need to rest for two weeks, although there is still no medical test results.

“I do not think this is as bad as we first thought. It is too early at this time. It’s a groin injury and early indications are not as bad as our initial estimation,” said Platt.

Platt predicts Aguero can play in the match against Aston Villa, for the past two weeks there will be an international break.

“Therefore, if we have a game this week or next week, he will not play. With the International break, who knows? It depends on how quickly he recoveres. It’s possible to be against Villa but we’ll see in the next 48 hours. I think at least two weeks, but I am not a medical team, ” he added.
