Former Argentina coach Diego Maradona asked Sir Alex Ferguson not to interfere in the affairs of Carlos Tevez. According to Maradona, what was said by Fergi is no more than a big joke.

“Ferguson should not have commented, because he becames a big coach after he got big players,” Maradona said .

“Ferguson defends Mancini and I know Mancini well, and I also know how Carlos Tevez is. If, Ferguson does not know the root of the problem, he should not comment if he does not want to be called a big joke,” he added.

Maradona arguably has a fairly close relationship with Tevez. He even suggested Tevez to leave Manchester United, when the player was more on the bench at Old Trafford.
