Mallorca Appoints Joaquin Caparros As New Coach

Real Mallorca finally have a new coach to replace the spot left by Michael Laudrup. The new man for the job is Joaquin Caparros.

The 55-year-old coach will be contracted until the end of June 2012. “I am willing to be involved in this team project. We guarantee that we will give everything for 25 hours a day, instead of 24 hours,” said Caparros.

Responding to his contract that only lasts until the end of this season, Caparros does not have a problem with it. “Only Athletic Bilbao who offered a three-year contract. In the other clubs, I just sign a season contract . We’ll see what happens,” he added.

“Looking ahead, the togetherness is needed to win the game in the league. That’s an absolute must for us to think as a team. I come with a lot of hope. It’s like an interesting challenge,” added Caparros.
