Malaga Targets Jefferson Farfan
Schalke could lose one of their valuable player, Jefferson Farfan, in the January transfer window. The forward who can play in various position is being monitored by Malaga. Malaga’s unlimited funds given by owner Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nassar Al-Thani, will make them easier to get Farfan.
According to local newspaper, La Opinion de Malaga, Manuel Pellegrini’s team still needs additional forwards who can play in various positions. They need this to compete with Barcelona and Real Madrid. According to Pellegrini, Farfan will a perfect addition for his squad.
Their chance to get Farfan is quite big. Farfan’s contract with Schalke will expire in 2012. Schalke hopes to keep Farfan but would be difficult for them. Since the end of last season Farfan already intending to leave Veltins-Arena.
If Farfan refuse to renew his contract, Schalke has to sell him in January.
