Milito Denies That He will Leave Inter

Inter Milan‘s Argentine striker Diego Milito, denied the rumors saying that he would leave the Giuseppe Meazza in the coming winter transfer window.

Rumors continued to circulate about Milito saying that his future is uncertain at the Giuseppe Meazza. However, the striker who led Inter to win a treble in 2010 confirmed that he has no intention to leave Inter.

“I do not have a problem with anyone at Inter and I never thought of leaving this club in January,” said Milito to Inter Channel.

“All this talk is not true. I can assure everyone that I am happy at Inter and will give my contribution to the team,” he continued.

The contributions may be needed by Inter in the ‘Derby d’Italia’ against Juventus on Saturday (29/10) at the Giuseppe Meazza if coach Claudio Ranieri gives him the chance to play from the beginning of the game.

However, Milito confirmed that the most important thing is victory against Juventus. “We want to win and this is the most important thing for us. We have to play very well and we all know what this game means. We need points and we know we have to beat Juventus.”
