Luis Enrique Never saw Roma Could Possibly Beat Milan

Lack of speed is what made Roma lose to 2-3 AC Milan at home, well that’s what Luis Enrique thinks.

Swedish striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic gave the visitors the lead in the match. Nicolas Burdisso equalized before Milan went ahead again with Nesta’s goal and Ibra’s second. Bojan Krkic gave the home team hope with his goal, but the home could not find an equalizer.

The game was not all Milan as Roma actually won on possession and shot attempts.

“I never saw the possibility of beating Milan tonight, we had many shots at goal, more than them, but without the speed we needed in this match. Things went OK in the first part of the game and better in the second but there’s still a lot of work to do to improve,” Enrique told reporters after the match.

“I accept all the responsibility, I have to do better to make the team play better.”
