Liverpool defender Stephen Sama admits that he is inspired by veteran Reds defender Jamie Carragher.

Sama said he wanted to learn as much as possible from the icon of the club based in Anfield.

“I’ve always liked William Gallas but since I joined Liverpool, I always see Jamie Carragher. He has provided remarkable advices and had become an inspiration to me. He is a fantastic defender,” he told Liverpoolfc.tv.

“Just by being here is something amazing. Liverpool is one of the biggest clubs in the world and I feel very proud to be here.”
