After they got a 1-0 win against Parma in the Serie A this weekend, Lazio forward Giuseppe Sculli believes that the club from the Italian capital city, are capable of defeating any team they face.

“Let’s now enjoy these two weeks at the top of the table. We can stay there, we are a strong group and compact,” he said to Tuttomercatoweb.

“We are not inferior to anyone, but now we can rest and recharge our batteries,” he continued. “We must continue to work well and balance our commitments in the league and in Europe.”

The former Genoa man, scored a 77th-minute winner against Franco Colomba’s men to send his side level on points with Udinese at the top of the table. Sculli is confident that the capital club can continue to fly high throughout the campaign.

In the current standings, Lazio and Udinese are on top with 21 points, leading by one point over AC Milan and two points ahead of Juventus, who have a game in hand after their match against Napoli was cancelled due to heavy rain.

After the international break, Lazio will travel to Napoli to face the team who also plays in sky blue.
