Cristiano Ronaldo Suffers from Thigh Strain After Euro Qualifiers
Wednesday saw the first club training for Real Madrid players back from international duty, and forward Cristiano Ronaldo could not attend training on Wednesday because of an injury he got from his international match with Portugal. Another player who also misses training is defender Alvaro Arbeloa.
“Cristiano Ronaldo did not train due to a strain in the adductor muscle of his left thigh, and neither did Arbeloa, who is suffering from a strain in his left hamstring,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
Despite claiming to miss training, but it is not sure weather the players will miss the La Liga match against Valencia on Saturday.
There are a total of fourteen Real Madrid players who played for their national teams. Arbeola, played for Spain in their 1-0 loss to England on Saturday and their 2-2 draw with Costa Rica on Tuesday. While Ronaldo, who scored a double for his country against Bosnia, but had to pick up an injury.
