Racism Case, David Beckham Attacks Sepp Blatter

David Beckham believes that Sepp Blatter statement is a terrible thing and a step back for football.

The FIFA President had previously seemed a close eye on the problems of racism in football. According to Blatter, the issue of racism among players can be settled only by a mere handshake.

Beckham also thinks Blatter has made ??a false statement.

“Horrible comments. Many people have spoken. I do not feel the statement is good for this game,” Beckham said, according to Sky Sports.

“There is still racism in football and in life for many years to come.”

FA, said Beckham, has worked hard to minimize this.

“They’ve made ??great strides in the last 10-15 years, but the problem of racism is always there,” he said.

Regarding the loss of racism with just a handshake Beckham also considered as something that is absurb.

“This sort of thing can not be stored or settled by just shaking hands. No way in the world and that is not how racism should be treated,” said Beckham.

“It’s out there and we all have to work hard to get them out of the game and life in general.”
