Seeing the impressive appearance of Mario Balotelli with Manchester City this season, Wesley Sneijder did not hesitate to launch a compliment to his former teammate at Inter Milan.

Despite the talent he is showing now, in the past, Balotelli’s gift as a footballer is covered by his controversial actions.

But now the 21 year old young striker has managed to erode the negative predicate with a series of brilliant performance with The Citizens, who actually had trouble time with him in his season debut after transfered from Inter.

“Balotelli is a player with exceptional quality,” praised Sneijder as reported by Tribalfootball.

“I’ve always played well when playing with him,” continued the Ajax academy graduate.

Super Mario’ talent reportedly attracted a line of clubs who wants his service, including Il Biscione who desire to pull him back, but Sneijder himself is not sure that his return could be realized.

“He’s doing good things at Manchester City, but I do not know if he’ll come back to us or not,” said the Dutch international.

In this 2011/12 campaign, Balotelli has netted seven goals in eight appearances throughout all events with Roberto Mancini’s squad.
