Roberto Mancini Has Not Forgiven Carlos Tevez

Roberto Mancini reiterated his stance to never again play Carlos Tevez as long as the former Inter boss is still in power at Eastlands.

Tevez, 27, flew to Argentina last week without permission, an increasing the tensions after refusing to appear as a substitute in the match against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

Manchester City sentenced Tevez two weeks, then decided to cut his salary for four weeks, although eventually Professional Players Association (PFA) forced City to reduce the pay cut to two weeks.

Now, Mancini reiterated his stance. When asked whether Tevez will play for him, Mancini firmly said, “I do not think it will happen.”

“I know he is in Argentina. I do not know what he’s doing,” said Mancini.

And Mancini tried to divert attention from Tevez’s case, “Why do we keep talking about Carlos? We’ve got an important game tomorrow.”
