Liverpool‘s Lucas Leiva stated that he is delighted to see Glen Johnson has been getting his confidence back.

As known, the Liverpool right-back scored the winner for Kenny Dalglish’s squad against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge last weekend.

“Johnno (Johnson) suffered injuries in recent months but he has recovered now and his confidence has returned. We are all happy for him,” Lucas told Liverpoolfc.tv.

“We knew he could do something like that and he scored a goal which has become a very important goal.”

“We are very satisfied with our performance, especially in the first half when we played really well.”

“They changed the system in the second half and we lost a little momentum when they equalized, but we continued to fight and got the second goal that we seek.”
