Swansea City midfielder Mark Gower assessed that other clubs should not be afraid to face Manchester United.

Although Swansea lost at home by Sir Alex Ferguson’s squad with a score of 1-0, Gower assessed United’s game is no longer as intimidating as it used to be.

“United has been a major force in this league for 20 years and there may be a time when they would not allow us to have lot of the ball,” said Gower.

“The speed they have is not like before, when you lose the ball, then they will rely on Giggs and Ronaldo.”

“Manchester City have more speed and power. Many clubs are still afraid of United and we showed it in the first half when we waited for them more. ”

“But you can play open with them now, what you may not do with them in the past.”
