Claudio Pizarro might have to undergo a period of rest for several weeks following a knee injury he suffered.

Pizarro previously revealed that he got a serious problem in his right knee tendon. Werder Bremen team doctors can not ensure the level of injury and still have to do more tests.

For the time range Pizarro must undergo a period of rest, Bremen team doctors have not been able to confirm, but is expected to take up to four weeks for him to recover.

Even so, there are estimations that Pizarro’s injury is not as severe as previously reported and that it is likely that he will return to play next week.
