Age that has reached 40 does not make Brad Friedel consider retiring. The Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper was hopes to get a new contract from the club.

The former Aston Villa goalkeeper expressed that he is still feeling fit and wants to continue his career, at least for one more season.

“If you can keep yourself free from injury and you always want to play, then you will always want to be able to continue this adventure,” said Friedel, acccording to Soccernet.

“It’s very possible to do it if you really want it, and I really want it,” he said.
