Diego Milito Denies That He Will be Leaving Inter
Inter Milan striker Diego Milito once again denied claims that he will leave the Giuseppe Meazza in the upcoming January transfer window.
Milito was played as a starter in Inter’s 1-1 draw with Trabzonspor in the Champions League. However, because most of his career this season is spent as a substitute, Milito is said to be closer to the transfer window.
Milito is linked with two French club, Paris Saint-Germain and Olympique Marseille. However, the 32-year-old striker insisted that he will stay with Inter this season.
“I do not know how rumors are circulating. I’m very happy to play for Inter,” said Milito. “I just focus on working hard for Inter, and I do not think of anything else. There are a lot of competition that must be done. It’s hard just to be on the bench, but I will work hard to play.”
Since Inter was left by Gian Piero Gasperini, Milito more often stays as a substitute by coach Claudio Ranieri. However, Milito said he would continue to fight for the chance to play alternately with Giampaolo Pazzini.
