Dynamo Dresden Banned to Play in the German Cup

Dynamo Dresden have to pay for the act of their fans. Because of their supporters, Dresden was sanctioned with a ban in the German Cup.

The sanctions were imposed by the German Football Federation, following fans riot  withpolice in the German Cup second round match against Borussia Dortmund on October 25.

The game was also marred by Dresden fans throwing fireworks onto the field.

Dortmund said that this cost them 150 thousand euros after Dresden fans damaged about 200 seats, destroyed and burn the toilet stalls. The police arrested at least 15 people during the riot.
