Chelsea is just one step away to getting Gary Cahill after reaching a price agreement with Bolton.

Manager Owen Coyle stated that the club has agreed to the proposed transfer bid of Chelsea which is valued at about seven million pounds.

The finalization of the transfer is just waiting for the signing of contract between Chelsea and Cahill. Currently representatives of the player is still negotiating about Cahill’s personal contract.

But Cahill is not guaranteed a place in the Chelsea first team because he still has to compete with John Terry, David Luiz and Branislav Ivanovic.

Cahill’s arrival also clarifies the future of Alex. He most likely will be released to another club next month.
