When everyone is looking forward for Thierry Henry‘s reunion to Arsenal, former midfielder Robson Stewart worries of potential internal problems within the team.

Henry is already in London to train with Arsenal. It is strongly believed that the 34 year-old attacker was will join Arsenal again on loan for two months. However, Henry’s presence in the squad is feared to create anxiety for other players.

“I understand all the reasons Arsene Wenger has to bring Henry back. He’s been practicing there and lifting the spirit of fans, but I’m not sure about that transfer,” said Robson to TalkSport.

“For the last two years Henry had been here, he’s the biggest players here and the other players  are sidelined by it.”

“I worry for players like Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott, and Aaron Ramsey, because Henry wants all the spotlight, getting all the attention, thus shifting Arsenal’s good performance lately.”

“One of the reasons Van Persie is not growing fast three or four years ago and why Jose Antonio Reyes failed to meet expectations, as well as two or three other players who failed, was because of Henry. There is no doubt about that.”

Not only that, for the 47-year-old former Arsenal player’, Henry’s presence threatens young players.

“I’ve talked to one or two Arsenal players  when Henry was still playing there and they said Henry make their confidence down,” continued Robson.

“He’s a player who threatens them and do not like being threatened back. When Van Persie came to join and is likely to be better than Henry and Reyes came, they all were pressed by Henry.”

“I hope this is no longer the case because Van Persie had proved his class today. I also hope that Henry realizes that he is no longer the player he was and has no intention of drawing attention.”
