Rafael Van der Vaart Wants Tottenham Hotspur to Improve Performance

Rafael van der Vaart spurs increase performanceTottenham Hotspur midfielder Rafael van der Vaart has asked his colleagues to improve their performance in order to be a frequent challenger to win the Premier League.

Tottenham, who will face West Bromwich Albion on Tuesday, wasted the opportunity to cut the distance with Manchester duo, City and United, after a 1-1 draw against Swansea last weekend.

Van der Vaart brought Tottenham ahead, but Scott Sinclair scored six minutes before the game ended making The Lilly Whites fail to get full points. Van der Vaart is aware that they should be able to cope with bad results.

“It’s disappointing to concede near the end of the game. But our disappointment could be a good sign, “said Van der Vaart to AFP.

“A couple of years ago Tottenham may be happy with a draw in this match, but we know we can still do better.”

“We got a good half  season, and still have plenty to do in the future.”
