Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma hopes he gets a call to strengthen the Italian national team again.

Although born in Argentina, the 29-year-old player has defended the Italian national team at the end of 2010.

“I want to participate in international matches again. Until then, I will focus for Lazio,” said Ledesma, according to Sky Sport Italia.

“My goal is to bring Lazio into the Champions League and then play in European competition on a regular basis every year.”
