Manchester City coach Roberto Mancini admitted that Owen Hargreaves is likely to appear to face his former club, Manchester United, in the FA Cup on Sunday (01/08).

City midfielder Yaya Toure is still unclear whether he will play for his club in the Manchester derby. Therefore, Hargreaves has a chance to show what he has.

“Owen has been working well with the team in the last two weeks with no problems,” said Mancini.

“But it is clear that he is not Yaya for now. He needs a chance to play and hard work. I hope he’s ready to play in one game but it depends on him.”
